Main Street U.S.A.
As the main entrance to Disneyland, Main Street, U.S.A. is patterned after a typical early 20th century Midwest town.The Disney Train Station is the first attraction you will encounter. Climb aboard the Disneyland Railroad for a leisurely 20 minute ride encircling the entire park. There are numerous stops along the way where you can come and go as you please.
As you continue your walk down Main Street, you will encounter numerous emporiums, shops, and arcades where you can purchase some sweets for your sweet, a customized Disney hat (or mouse ears) for your head, or even a tiara for your teen.
Don't forget to stop at the Opera House and listen to an exhilarating speech by President Abraham Lincoln.
At the end of Main Street is the Central Plaza, or the "hub", which leads to other land for more fun and adventure.
To the left you can enter Adventureland and Frontierland, to the right is the futuristic Tomorrowland.
Continuing straight ahead to the north, just across the drawbridge, is the Sleeping Beauty Castle, which serves as the entryway to Fantasyland.
