The Kia Soul is a compact car designed at Kia's design center in California. Originally unveiled at the 2008
Paris Motor Show, the Soul is manufactured in South Korea and was first available in 2010.
New features of the 2012 models include:
Two new engines - 1.6L GDI (138 hp) and 2.0L (164 hp)
6 speed manual or automatic transmission
The optional UVO voice-activated entertainment system, developed by Microsoft and Kia,
provides access to vehicle's multimedia and radio systems.
UVO offers a 4.3" inch touch screen with reversing camera, and includes:
AM/FM radio, with RDS (data) and HD ('hi def') capabilities,
Sirius XM satellite radio,
bluetooth streaming,
USB jack for media streaming,
1GB of internal storage for MP3, which can be ripped directly from a CD (MP3, WMA format only).
